The first few loricards were designed about ten years ago. They started because I really felt that store-bought cards lacked a personal connection. I couldn’t find cards that said what I wanted to say, and as an artist, the imagery was lacking as well.

I draw inspiration from my own life, my friends, my feelings, and the line grew from there. The line grows everyday.

I find humor and joy and love in life’s moments, and try to convey them using stylized figures in motion, caught in a moment. I feel our emotions exude through our bodies bringing a very personal, very visual connection for anyone. I try to create images that everyone can relate to, and keep them simple because emotions are anything but simple.

These cards are a passion of mine, and can make me laugh out loud and still get emotional looking at them. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them.
